THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL
MINNESOTA...CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA...NORTH CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AND
NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

STRONG NORTHWESTERLY WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS AROUND 45
MPH WILL IMPACT MOST OF THE AREA THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS
EVENING. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY OCCUR ALONG AND EAST OF
THE JAMES RIVER VALLEY.

THESE STRONG WINDS...IN COMBINATION WITH A VERY DRY AIR MASS WILL
RESULT IN EXTREME FIRE DANGER FROM THE SISSETON HILLS INTO
CENTRAL AND WESTERN SOUTH DAKOTA. VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER IS LIKELY
FOR FAR NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

NORTHWESTERLY WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WILL COMBINE WITH RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES BETWEEN 20 TO 30 PERCENT TO PRODUCE VERY HIGH FIRE
DANGER ON TUESDAY.
