WEAK COLD FRONT THROUGH SALMON ID AND BURNS/OR...FRONT SHIFTING
SEWD.  FROPA THROUGH SRN IDAHO AROUND NOON MDT.  POST-FRONTAL AIR
MASS WILL BE SLIGHTLY COOLER ALONG WITH GUSTY NW WINDS...A LITTLE
STRONGER THAN IN CURRENT FORECAST IN THE UPPER TREASURE VALLEY AND
SW IDAHO HIGHLANDS BUT NOT ENOUGH TO UPDATE.  CLEAR AND DRY TONIGHT.
DIMINISHING WINDS WILL ALLOW GOOD RADIATIONAL COOLING WITH SUNDAY
MORNING A LITTLE COLDER THAN THIS MORNING.  GRADUAL WARMING AGAIN
THROUGH TUESDAY AS NEXT UPPER RIDGE...CURRENTLY ALONG THE COAST...
COMES SLOWLY INLAND.

5-15 KTS AFTER 03Z. WINDS ALOFT...NORTHWEST TO NORTH 15-20 KTS UP

SHOWING UP ON SATELLITE IMAGERY OVER IDAHO AND SE OREGON. PWAT IS
IN THE BOTTOM/DRY THIRD FOR MID APRIL. TEMPERATURES WILL BE
WARMER THAN NORMAL /HIGHS BY AROUND 10F/ AGAIN TODAY...SO HUMIDITY
BARELY EVEN SUPPORTS WISPY CIRRUS CLOUDS. POPS WERE ZEROED OUT.
LIGHT WINDS EXPECTED SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY. LOWS WILL BE
AROUND NORMAL /ABOVE FREEZING ACROSS THE AG VALLEYS/ WITH HIGHS
REBOUNDING TO 7-14F ABOVE NORMAL IN THE DRY AIRMASS THROUGH SUNDAY.

LONG TERM...SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY...AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE
WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST WITH THE RIDGE AXIS CENTERED OVER THE
REGION ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO ABOUT 10
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL ON TUESDAY. AN UPPER LEVEL TROUGH WILL WEAKEN
THE RIDGE AND BRING CLOUDS AND A CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION ON
WEDNESDAY. INSTABILITY IS RATHER LIMITED FOR THUNDERSTORMS ON
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON MAINLY IN SOUTHWEST IDAHO SO HAVE TRIMMED
THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE ACCORDINGLY. A SECOND STRONGER TROUGH WILL
FOLLOW ON FRIDAY FOR MORE PRECIPITATION AND COOLER TEMPERATURES
INTO SATURDAY. THERE CONTINUES TO BE LITTLE RUN TO RUN CONSISTENCY
OR MODEL AGREEMENT ON DETAILS WITH THIS SECOND TROUGH...BUT
TEMPERATURES WILL COOL BACK TO NORMAL BY FRIDAY.
