FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
253 PM EDT MON APR 27 2015

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED WELL TO THE WEST AND NORTH THIS
AFTERNOON WILL CONTINUE FEEDING COOLER AND DRIER AIR DOWN INTO THE
AREA THROUGH TUESDAY. A DEVELOPING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN THE WESTERN
GULF OF MEXICO WILL MOVE EAST AND BEGIN DRAWING MOISTURE NORTH INTO
THE AREA TUESDAY NIGHT.

WITH A WEAK PRESSURE GRADIENT IN PLACE...DISPERSION WILL BE POOR
TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING. HOWEVER...THE RELATIVELY DRY AIR WILL
PREVENT ANY FOG FROM FORMING. THE DISPERSION WILL BREAK UP BY 9 AM.

WINDS WILL BE NORTHEAST BECOMING MORE EAST DURING THE AFTERNOON
TUESDAY...AT SPEEDS OF 5 TO 10 MPH NEAR THE SURFACE AND AROUND
10 MPH IN THE MIXING LAYER. RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL FALL TO
BETWEEN 35 AND 40 PERCENT.
