FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
502 PM EDT SAT APR 18 2015

.DISCUSSION...LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPING OVER THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY ON SATURDAY EVENING WILL DEEPEN AND MOVE NORTHEAST TO THE
GREAT LAKES BY MONDAY MORNING. AS IT PASSES TO OUR WEST IT WILL
PULL AN ABUNDANCE OF MOISTURE NORTHWARD FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO.
COUPLED WITH AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE PASSING OVER...THE END
RESULT WILL BE SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY SOME THUNDERSTORMS. THEY
SHOULD BEGIN TO MOVE IN FROM THE SOUTHWEST LATE TONIGHT...AFFECT
THE ENTIRE AREA ON SUNDAY...AND THEN BEGIN TO DIMINISH FROM
SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST LATE SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. ANOTHER
UPPER LEVEL WEATHER SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM THE WEST WILL BRING
A LIKELIHOOD OF MORE SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY THUNDERSTORMS ON
MONDAY...BEFORE DRIER WEATHER FINALLY ARRIVES BY TUESDAY.
