FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST VIRGINIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHARLESTON WV
441 PM EDT TUE MAY 5 2015

.DISCUSSION...
A COLD FRONT TO OUR NORTH SHOULD STALL OVERNIGHT...NEAR THE
COLUMBUS...TO PITTSBURGH...TO MARTINSBURG CORRIDOR.

REMAINING SOUTH OF THIS BOUNDARY...WARM TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO
CONTINUE HERE. A WEAK STEERING WIND FLOW WILL EXIST ABOVE THE GROUND
FOR THE REST OF THE WORK AND SCHOOL WEEK.

A FEW SHOWERS OR A THUNDERSTORM COULD FORM IN THE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING HOURS. IF WE GET ANY RAIN...SOME FOG COULD FORM LATE THAT
NIGHT...IN THOSE LOCATIONS.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK IN
THE WARM HUMID ATMOSPHERE. A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THE AREA
EARLY NEXT WEEK...WITH LESS HUMID AND COOLER WEATHER EXPECTED BY MID
WEEK NEXT WEEK.
