SHOWERS AND SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TODAY FROM
PENNSYLVANIA AND NEW JERSEY SOUTHWARD THROUGH VIRGINIA. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH ARE EXPECTED AND THERE COULD
BE OVER AN INCH IN SOME LOCATIONS.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD SOUTH ACROSS THE REGION THURSDAY WITH A FEW
WIDELY SCATTERED AFTERNOON SHOWERS IN THE MOUNTAINS OF VIRGINIA.

THE HIGH WILL MOVE OFF THE COAST FRIDAY AS MOISTURE INCREASES FROM
THE SOUTH. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY A THUNDERSTORM WILL
DEVELOP FROM SOUTHERN AND WESTERN VIRGINIA TO SOUTHERN NEW YORK.

ON AREA RIVERS AND CREEKS, GENERALLY MINOR CHANGES ARE EXPECTED INTO
THE WEEKEND. LOCALLY SHARP RISES MAY OCCUR ON A FEW SMALLER STREAMS
AND TRIBUTARIES NEAR STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS.
