Water levels can be expected to fall on the Little Tallahatchie
Canal...Yalobusha River...and rise on the Tombigbee River.


At 8 PM Friday, the stage on the Tombigbee River near Tombigbee River
Near Fulton was 15.4 feet and rising. Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

At 8 PM Friday, the stage on the Tombigbee River near Amory was 18.5
feet and rising. Flood stage is 20.0 feet.At 20.0 feet, Lowland
flooding begins..

At 9 PM Friday, the stage on the Little Tallahatchie Canal at Etta
was 22.6 feet and falling. Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

At 8 PM Friday, the stage on the Yalobusha River at Calhoun City was
19.2 feet and falling. Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

The next River Statement will be issued Saturday morning or sooner if conditions
warrant.
