TODAY...LOW CLOUDS...FOG...DRIZZLE...AND EVEN SOME LIGHT RAIN
SHOWERS WERE SEEN ACROSS PARTS OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA...MOST NOTABLY OVER THE EASTERN PANHANDLE WHERE THE RAIN
SHOWERS WERE MORE WIDESPREAD AND FOG WAS COMMON ALONG THE
INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR NEAR SIDNEY. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY
REACHED INTO THE UPPER 50S TO LOW 60S OVER NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA
AND THE EASTERN SANDHILLS....BUT STRUGGLED INTO THE MID 40S TO LOW
50S OVER THE EASTERN PANHANDLE...WESTERN AND CENTRAL
SANDHILLS...AND SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA. WINDS WERE GENERALLY FROM
THE EAST AT 10 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR.

TONIGHT...HIGH PRESSURE MOVING SOUTH OUT OF CANADA AND INTO THE
WESTERN GREAT LAKES...WILL HELP TO USHER IN DRYER AIR THROUGH THE
NIGHTTIME HOURS ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL AND PORTIONS OF WESTERN
NEBRASKA. THERE EXISTS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR RAIN SHOWERS THROUGH
THE EVENING HOURS...MAINLY ACROSS THE EASTERN PANHANDLE AND
EXTREME SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA. IN ADDITION TO THE PRECIPITATION
CHANCES...THERE ALSO EXISTS THE CHANCE FOR PATCHY FOG OVER THE
SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE AND SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...THIS INCLUDES
THE INTERSTATE 80 CORRIDOR WEST OF NORTH PLATTE. VISIBILITIES IN
AREAS THAT SEE FOG THIS EVENING ARE EXPECTED TO DROP AS LOW AS 3
MILES...WITH VISIBILITIES GRADUALLY INCREASING THROUGH 3 A.M. AS
THE FOG LIFTS.
