WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE MIDSOUTH

TEMPERATURES ARE BELOW AVERAGE THROUGHOUT THE MIDSOUTH THIS
EVENING AFTER THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT EARLIER. POST FRONTAL
CLOUDS HAVE KEPT SKIES MOSTLY CLOUDY. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM
THE LOW 40S NEAR THE TENNESSEE RIVER TO THE LOW 50S IN NORTH
MISSISSIPPI.

TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN BELOW NORMAL FOR NEXT WEEK WITH HIGHS
ONLY IN THE 60S FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK CLIMBING TO THE LOW
70S BY THE END OF THE WEEK. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE
THROUGH THE MIDSOUTH ON TUESDAY CREATING RAIN CHANCES MAINLY ALONG
AND SOUTH OF THE I-40 CORRIDOR. DRY AIR WILL BEGIN TO FILTER INTO
THE REGION BEHIND THE DISTURBANCE MAKING FOR A NICE END OF THE
WEEK AND WEEKEND.
