.SHORT TERM...UPPER RIDGE CURRENTLY ALONG THE COAST WILL MOVE SLOWLY
INLAND THROUGH TUESDAY BRINGING SLIGHT WARMING AND CONTINUED DRY
WEATHER. BUT THERE ARE MINOR EXCEPTIONS ON TUESDAY. NORTH
PACIFIC TROUGH DIGGING SWD ALONG 130W TUESDAY WILL BRING A SLIGHT
CHANCE OF AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO SWRN HARNEY COUNTY.
AND...MODELS SHOW ENOUGH MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY TUESDAY AFTERNOON
FOR A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THE CENTRAL
IDAHO MOUNTAINS. LIGHT WINDS THROUGH TUESDAY.

.LONG TERM...TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY...MODELS SHOW THE UPPER
LEVEL RIDGE SHIFTING EAST OF OUR AREA TUESDAY NIGHT AND WEDNESDAY
WITH MOISTURE INCREASING OVER THE INTERMOUNTAIN REGION AS A WEAK
UPPER LEVEL TROUGH CROSSES THE COAST. DUE TO THE SPLIT FLOW PATTERN
OVER THE COAST MOST OF THE ENERGY WILL STAY NORTH AND SOUTH OF OUR
FORECAST AREA...AND SHOWERS WILL BE MAINLY CONFINED TO THE HIGHER
TERRAIN WEDNESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY. ALSO...INSTABILITY WILL BE
ADEQUATE FOR ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS...MAINLY DURING AFTERNOONS AND
EVENINGS. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE ABOVE NORMAL ON WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY THEN COOL TO NEAR NORMAL FOR FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND.
ON SUNDAY THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS WILL DECREASE UNDER AN AMPLIFYING
UPPER LEVEL RIDGE...BUT HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE NOT EXPECTED TO WARM
SIGNIFICANTLY DUE TO CLOUD COVER.
