.A THUNDERSTORM COMPLEX DEVELOPING OVER CENTRAL TEXAS LATE THIS
EVENING WILL CONTINUE MOVING EASTWARD TOWARD THE AREA. THIS
COMPLEX WILL CROSS THE AREA MONDAY MORNING...WITH OTHER SHOWERS
AND STORMS LIKELY TO DEVELOP AS WELL. RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE
FORECAST TO BE ONE TO THREE INCHES ON MONDAY WITH ISOLATED AMOUNTS
UP TO SIX INCHES POSSIBLE.

  AREAS...IN LOUISIANA...ACADIA...ALLEN...BEAUREGARD...
  CALCASIEU...EAST CAMERON...EVANGELINE...IBERIA...JEFFERSON
  DAVIS...LAFAYETTE...LOWER ST. MARTIN...ST. LANDRY...ST. MARY...
   UPPER ST. MARTIN...VERMILION AND WEST CAMERON. IN TEXAS...
  JEFFERSON...ORANGE...SOUTHERN JASPER AND SOUTHERN NEWTON.

* FROM 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING THROUGH THIS EVENING

* NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP
  THROUGH MONDAY ACROSS THE AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 3
  INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS OF UP TO 6
  INCHES POSSIBLE

* AREAS THAT SEE HEAVY RAINFALL WITHIN A SHORT TIME COULD
  RECEIVE FLOOD WATER TO DEPTHS THAT WOULD IMPACT PROPERTY AND
  PEOPLE IN THOSE AREAS. AREA CREEKS...STREAMS AND RIVERS ARE
  ALSO LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE RISES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
