...INCREASED FIRE DANGER ACROSS PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA
TODAY...

GUSTY WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL
COMBINE FOR AN INCREASED FIRE DANGER TODAY. SUSTAINED WINDS 15 TO
20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 25 MPH, ALONG WITH RELATIVE HUMIDITY BETWEEN
25 TO 30 PERCENT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE FIRE DANGER THREAT DURING
THE AFTERNOON.

RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO AVOID OUTDOOR BURNING TODAY, ESPECIALLY
DURING THE AFTERNOON.
