HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT

...A statement concerning The Black River at Neillsville...Black
River Falls...Galesville...Kickapoo River at Steuben...Trempealeau
River at Dodge...

Heavy rain earlier this week has caused rises on area rivers,
although the water levels have crested at many locations.

Black River at Neillsville...The stage today was  8.88 feet. flood
stage is 18.0 feet. The water level was dropping.

Black River at Black River Falls...The stage today was 46.04 feet.
flood stage is 47.0 feet. The river is forecast to continue to fall
over the next several days, after cresting just under 47 feet early
this morning.

Black River at Galesville...The stage today was  7.92 feet. flood
stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.90 feet
Monday...which is below flood stage.

Kickapoo River at Steuben...The stage today was 10.28 feet. flood
stage is 12.0 feet. The river is nearing crest now and may
rise a few more tenths.

Trempealeau River at Dodge...The stage today was  7.98 feet. flood
stage is 9.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach  8.10 feet Sunday
morning...which is below flood stage.
