A WARM FRONT MOVED ACROSS THE AREA YESTERDAY...PROVIDING SCATTERED
SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS. RAIN AMOUNTS WERE LIGHT...LESS
THAN A HALF INCH. THIS ACTIVITY CALMED DOWN OVERNIGHT...BUT SKIES
REMAINED CLOUDY. LOWS WERE IN THE UPPER 50S TO LOWER 60S.

A COMPLEX STORM SYSTEM WILL SPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS THE REGION FROM TODAY...THROUGH TONIGHT...INTO EARLY
FRIDAY. SOME OF THE STORMS COULD BE ON THE STRONG SIDE...
ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. GUSTY WINDS...SMALL
HAIL...AND LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS ARE ALL POSSIBLE. THESE STORMS
WILL BE OCCURRING ALONG AND AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT WHICH WILL SWEEP
THROUGH THE REGION BY FRIDAY MORNING.

HIGHS TODAY ARE EXPECTED TO TOP OUT FROM THE MIDDLE 70S TO
LOWER 80S. LOWS FRIDAY MORNING WILL RANGE FROM THE 50S ACROSS
MINNESOTA...TO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 60S OVER ILLINOIS. HIGHS
FRIDAY WILL BE A BIT COOLER BEHIND THE FRONT...WITH READINGS
RANGING FROM THE UPPER 50S OVER CENTRAL MINNESOTA...TO THE MIDDLE
70S OVER ILLINOIS.
