SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS REDEVELOPED FROM THE PLAINS TO THE LOWER
GREAT LAKES BY AFTERNOON WHILE THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY AND
WESTERN GREAT LAKES REMAINED DRY. AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED
FROM THE MIDDLE 60S OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...TO THE
70S OVER MUCH OF NORTHEAST IOWA AND WESTERN WISCONSIN.

THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST OVER PORTIONS
OF IOWA...SOUTHERN WISCONSIN AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS TONIGHT.
ELSEWHERE...CLOUDY CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL AND TEMPERATURES WILL
DROP INTO THE 40S TO AROUND 50.

AN UNSETTLED WEATHER PATTERN WILL THEN BE IN PLACE FOR THE REST OF
THE WEEK. A WEATHER SYSTEM ALONG THE WEST COAST WILL KEEP THE REGION
IN A MOIST AND UNSTABLE FLOW...SENDING DISTURBANCE AFTER DISTURBANCE
INTO THE AREA. THIS WILL ALSO KEEP TEMPERATURES ON THE MILD SIDE
AFTER DIPPING INTO THE 60S TUESDAY...WITH 70S AND EVEN LOW 80S AT
TIMES INTO FRIDAY.
