WEATHER SUMMARY FOR UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI
1030 AM CDT MON APR 13 2015

DURING THE OVERNIGHT...A LINE OF SHOWERS ALONG WITH SOME THUNDER
MOVED EASTWARD ACROSS THE REGION ALONG A COLD FRONT. RAINFALL
AMOUNTS WERE GENERALLY LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH...THOUGH A FEW
LOCATIONS ACROSS SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN AND NORTHEAST IOWA SAW AMOUNTS
IN THE THREE TO FIVE TENTHS RANGE.

AS THE COLD FRONT IS NOW EAST OF THE REGION WE CAN EXPECT DRY AND
MOSTLY SUNNY WEATHER THIS AFTERNOON ALONG WITH GUSTY WESTERLY
BREEZES. LOOK FOR TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON TO REACH THE LOW TO
MIDDLE 60S.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL DRIFT OVERHEAD TONIGHT...PRODUCING CLEAR SKIES
AND LIGHT WINDS. THIS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DIP INTO THE MIDDLE
30S.

THE OUTLOOK FOR TUESDAY...HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE OFF TO THE EAST AS
LOW PRESSURE ENTERS THE NORTHERN PLAINS. THIS WILL SWING OUR WINDS
AROUND TO THE SOUTH AND PUSH TEMPERATURES INTO THE MID 60S TO AROUND
70 DEGREES.
