WEATHER SUMMARY FOR UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI
332 AM CDT SAT MAY 2 2015

THE REGION WAS BETWEEN WEATHER SYSTEMS OVERNIGHT...SO SKIES RANGED
FROM CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY. BUT AS HIGH PRESSURE HEADS OFF TO THE
EAST TODAY...SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL BE ON THE INCREASE...BRINGING IN
WARMER TEMPERATURES...BUT ALSO MORE MOISTURE. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM
THE MIDDLE 70S...TO THE LOWER 80S TODAY...WITH MOSTLY TO PARTLY
SUNNY SKIES.

THIS RETURN OF MOISTURE COULD LEAD TO A FEW SHOWERS TONIGHT...BUT AN
EVEN GREATER CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LATER ON SUNDAY
INTO SUNDAY NIGHT. THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY MOVE THROUGH THE AREA
SUNDAY NIGHT...A PRECURSOR TO WHAT LOOKS LIKE A MORE ACTIVE WEATHER
WEEK AHEAD.
