WEATHER SUMMARY FOR UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI
955 AM CDT WED APR 22 2015

CLOUDS PREVAILED THROUGH THE NIGHT ALONG WITH PERIODS OF SNOW
SHOWERS. SOME LOCATIONS REPORTED A LIGHT DUSTING OF ACCUMULATION...
BUT OTHERWISE THE SNOW MELTED AS IT FELL. OVERNIGHT LOWS WERE
MAINLY IN THE LOWER 30S...BUT NORTHERN WISCONSIN AND MINNESOTA
FELL INTO THE 20S.

THE STORM SYSTEM RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR COLD AND CLOUDY CONDITIONS
WAS SLOWLY WORKING ITS WAY EAST...AND SOME CLEARING IS EXPECTED TO
MOVE IN FROM THE WEST TODAY. WESTERN MINNESOTA AND IOWA WILL BE
MOSTLY SUNNY...WITH HIGHS MAKING IT INTO THE LOWER 50S. BUT WHERE
THE CLOUDS LAST LONGEST OVER EASTERN WISCONSIN...HIGHS TODAY WILL
ONLY MAKE IT TO THE UPPER 30S AND LOWER 40S. IT WILL ALSO BE QUITE
BREEZY...WITH WIND GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH.

SKIES WILL CLEAR TONIGHT...AND WINDS WILL DIMINISH. THIS WILL SET
THE STAGE FOR A CHILLY NIGHT...WITH LOWS FALLING INTO THE 20S.
