A STATIONARY FRONT EXTENDED FROM CENTRAL ILLINOIS WESTWARD ALONG
THE IOWA-MISSOURI BORDER. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING
NEAR THIS FRONT FROM SOUTHERN WISCONSIN AND NORTHEAST IOWA SOUTH
INTO ILLINOIS AND MISSOURI. A WEAK AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WAS
CENTERED OVER NORTHERN WISCONSIN AND WAS PROVIDING CLEAR SKIES
OVER THE NORTHERN THIRD OF WISCONSIN INTO MUCH OF MINNESOTA.
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOWER 30S ACROSS NORTHERN MINNESOTA
TO THE 60S OVER SOUTHERN IOWA.

THE SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE OFF TO THE EAST OF THE
AREA DURING THE LATE MORNING AND AFTERNOON. WHILE MOST OF THE
AREA WILL THEN HAVE A DRY DAY...THERE WILL CONTINUE TO BE A SMALL
CHANCE FOR ADDITIONAL RAIN ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA INTO SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN AND ON TO THE SOUTH AS THE FRONT IS NOT EXPECTED TO MOVE
MUCH TODAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE 60S
TO THE 80S.

THE FRONT SHOULD BEGIN TO MOVE BACK NORTH TOWARD THE AREA AS A
WARM FRONT LATE TONIGHT. THIS WILL MAINTAIN A CHANCE FOR SOME
RAIN FROM SOUTHERN MINNESOTA ACROSS WISCONSIN INTO NORTHERN
ILLINOIS. LOW TEMPERATURES SHOULD RANGE FROM THE 40S TO THE 60S.
