...ELEVATED RISK FOR WILDFIRES THIS AFTERNOON...

THE COMBINATION OF STRONG SOUTH WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY
WILL RESULT IN AN ELEVATED RISK FOR WILDFIRES THIS AFTERNOON. LOOK
FOR SOUTH WINDS TO INCREASE TO 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUST OF 35 TO 40
MPH. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL INTO
THE 26 TO 30 PERCENT RANGE. WILDFIRES COULD START EASILY AND
SPREAD QUICKLY THIS AFTERNOON. AVOID ALL OUTDOOR BURNING TODAY.

CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE DURING THE EVENING AS WINDS DIMINISH...
MOISTURE INCREASES AND SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVE IN LATE.
