SKIES WERE PARTLY CLOUDY ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND
NORTHWEST INDIANA EARLY THIS EVENING. AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES
MADE IT INTO THE LOW TO MID 70S ACROSS MOST AREAS...BUT AREAS
ALONG THE LAKEFRONT IN EXTREME NORTHERN ILLINOIS ONLY REACHED THE
UPPER 50S.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS
AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES THE AREA. SOUTHERLY WINDS AHEAD OF THE
FRONT WILL KEEP TEMPERATURES MILD TONIGHT...ONLY DIPPING INTO THE
LOW TO MID 50S. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE
WIDESPREAD DURING THURSDAY MORNING...BUT THE CHANCE FOR
PRECIPITATION WILL LINGER INTO THE AFTERNOON HOURS. HIGHS ON
THURSDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE MID TO UPPER 60S. THE CHANCES OF
RAIN WILL CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY AS LOW PRESSURE MOVES EASTWARD
ALONG THE COLD FRONT. TEMPERATURES WILL BE MARKEDLY COOLER FRIDAY
WITH HIGHS IN THE 40S AND 50S.
