PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PLAINS REGION TODAY AND TONIGHT...AS AN UPPER LEVEL LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER COLORADO CONTINUES TO TRACK VERY SLOWLY TO THE
EAST.

STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS MAY DEVELOP DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING
MAINLY WEST OF THE OMAHA AREA INTO CENTRAL NEBRASKA THEN SOUTH
ACROSS KANSAS INTO OKLAHOMA. MUCH OF EASTERN NEBRASKA AND EXTREME
WESTERN IOWA WILL RECEIVE OVER A HALF INCH OF RAIN BY MID AFTERNOON
TODAY.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL BE IN THE UPPER 60S TO THE LOWER 70S.
LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM AROUND 40 IN THE WEST TO AROUND 50 IN
THE EAST.
