EASTERN COLORADO ON TUESDAY MOVES NORTHEAST AWAY FROM THE STATE, A
NEW LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TAKE SHAPE OVER THE DESERT SOUTHWEST.
THIS WILL HELP TO KEEP AN ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN IN PLACE OVER
EASTERN COLORADO INTO THE WEEKEND AS A SERIES OF WEAK UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCES ROTATING AROUND THIS LOW, MOVE ACROSS THE STATE. THIS
WILL BRING ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE
REGION THROUGH THE WEEKEND, WITH THE BEST CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION
EXPECTED LATE FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY AS THE LOW TRANSITIONS ACROSS THE
ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION. AREA TEMPERATURES WILL RETURN TO AROUND
AVERAGE INTO THURSDAY, THEN COOLING BACK TO BELOW AVERAGE INTO
MONDAY.

THE FORECAST FOR PIKES PEAK, TELLER COUNTY AND THE RAMPART RANGE.
SKIES WILL BE CLOUDY THIS AFTERNOON, WITH NUMEROUS RAIN SHOWERS AND
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS. SNOW ACCUMULATION UP TO 3 INCHES POSSIBLE
ABOVE 11000 FEET. HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM 30 TO 60 DEGREES. WINDS WILL
BE OUT OF THE WEST AT 10 TO 20 MPH. THE CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION IS
60 PERCENT.
