FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
336 PM AKDT WED APR 1 2015

.DISCUSSION...
AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES CONTINUES TO PUSH ACROSS SOUTHCENTRAL
ALASKA THIS AFTERNOON. THIS HAS COUPLED WITH SOME ELEVATED INSTABILITY
TO PRODUCE WIDESPREAD SHOWER ACTIVITY. AS TEMPERATURES BEGIN TO COOL
THIS EVENING AND THE DISTURBANCE WEAKENS...SHOWER ACTIVITY SHOULD
TAPER OFF FROM WEST TO EAST. AN OUTFLOW WIND REGIME WILL BEGIN TO SET
UP ON THURSDAY WITH GUSTY WINDS SEEN NEAR WHITTIER AND SEWARD. DRIER
CONDITIONS WILL DEVELOP THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK BUT NO FIRE
WEATHER ISSUES ARE EXPECTED.
