HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL FORECAST DISCUSSION

...PRECIPITATION...

IN THE PAST 24 HOURS... MOST OF THE NCRFC AREA RECEIVED SOME RAIN
AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVED EASTWARD INTO NORTHERN MISSOURI
THIS MORNING.  THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL WAS GENERALLY A HALF AN INCH
TO AN INCH IN PARTS OF SOUTHERN MINNESOTA AND IOWA AND NORTHERN
ILLINOIS.  THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA RECEIVED A TENTH OR TWO OF
RAIN WHILE THE NORTHERN TIER SAW MOSTLY DRY CONDITIONS.

IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS... THE LOW WILL MOVE TO VIRGINIA BY TOMORROW
MORNING... AND SPREAD A HALF INCH TO AN INCH OF RAIN OVER ILLINOIS
AND INDIANA... WITH LIGHTER AMOUNTS TO THE NORTH AND SOUTH.
DAYS 2 THROUGH 5 LOOK TO BE MOSTLY DRY.

MODERATE FLOODING IS OCCURRING ALONG THE SOURIS RIVER IN NORTH
DAKOTA AT TOWNER AND BANTRY.
