THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED
TODAY.

WATER LEVELS ALONG THE COAST AND BEACHES ARE RUNNING 1 TO 2
FEET ABOVE NORMAL. HIGHER WATER LEVELS AND SURF ALONG AREA
BEACHES WILL PRODUCE STRONGER THAN NORMAL RIP CURRENTS. SWIM NEAR
A LIFEGUARD.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED. SOME OF THE
CELLS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALIZED HEAVY RAINFALL WITH A
FEW INCHES FALLING IN A SHORT TIME PERIOD. STRONG WINDS WILL ALSO
BE POSSIBLE IN THE ISOLATED STRONGER CELLS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL BRING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO MAINLY THE NORTHWEST HALF OF THE REGION THROUGH
SATURDAY.

ANOTHER STRONG DISTURBANCE WILL APPROACH SOUTHEAST TEXAS SUNDAY
NIGHT AND MONDAY. THIS FEATURE WILL LIKELY TRIGGER ANOTHER EPISODE
OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS.

RIP CURRENTS ALONG THE BEACHES WILL ALSO BE HAZARDS.

MODERATE TO STRONG ONSHORE WINDS WILL PREVAIL FOR MUCH OF THE
WEEK. TIDES WILL LIKELY REMAIN ELEVATED AND RIP CURRENTS COULD
ALSO PERSIST.
