THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
A LINGERING LONG PERIOD SWELL AND BREEZY ONSHORE WINDS WILL
PRODUCE A HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK AND ROUGH SURF AT AREA BEACHES
TODAY. THE GREATEST SEAWARD PULL WILL BE FROM LATE MORNING
THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON DUE TO TIDAL EFFECTS. CHECK WITH OCEAN
RESCUE PERSONNEL ABOUT SURF ZONE HAZARDS WHEN ARRIVING AT THE
BEACH AND ONLY ENTER THE WATER NEAR A LIFEGUARD.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
POOR TO HAZARDOUS BOATING CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE
COASTAL WATERS TODAY AND TONIGHT AS A MODERATE TO FRESH EASTERLY
BREEZE BUILDS SEAS UP TO 6 TO 7 FEET.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
ONSHORE MOVING SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE ALONG
THE TREASURE COAST LATER TONIGHT WITH ISOLATED STORMS ALSO
POSSIBLE...MAINLY ALONG THE ST. LUCIE AND MARTIN COUNTY COAST. ANY
STORMS THAT DEVELOP OVER THE WATERS AND PUSH ONSHORE WILL BE ABLE
TO PRODUCE DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
A CONTINUED NORTHEAST SWELL AND A MODERATE TO FRESH ONSHORE BREEZE
WILL KEEP BEACH AND BOATING CONDITIONS POOR TO HAZARDOUS INTO MID
WEEK.

A LOW PRESSURE CENTER IS FORECAST TO DEVELOP OVER THE NORTHERN
BAHAMAS BY TUESDAY NIGHT AND MOVE SLOWLY NORTHWARD OFFSHORE OF EAST
CENTRAL FLORIDA. THIS WOULD CONTINUE THE POOR TO HAZARDOUS BEACH
AND BOATING CONDITIONS INTO LATE WEEK. A PERIOD OF MINOR TO
MODERATE BEACH EROSION WOULD ALSO BECOME LIKELY.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED TODAY.
