...STRONG SOUTH WINDS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE LAGUNA MADRE AND THE
NEARSHORE WATERS TODAY...

.A SURFACE LOW PRESSURE AREA DEVELOPING OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS
STATES WILL INTERACT WITH A SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE AREA OVER GULF
COAST AND THE GULF OF MEXICO TO PRODUCE GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS
OVER THE LAGUNA MADRE AND NEAR SHORE WATERS MAINLY DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. THIS STRONG SOUTH WINDS WILL PERSIST
THROUGH THE MID EVENING HOURS EVENTUALLY DIMINISHING TOWARDS
MIDNIGHT.

  ACROSS MUCH OF THE LAGUNA MADRE AND NEARSHORE WATERS OUT TO 20
  NAUTICAL MILES DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR WIND MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 20 TO
33 KNOTS ARE EXPECTED. INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE
OPERATING SMALLER VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE
CONDITIONS.
