WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS

MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS THE MAJORITY OF THE REGION
OVERNIGHT. LOW TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE LOW TO UPPER 70S. WINDS
WERE GENERALLY LIGHT AND VARIABLE OVERNIGHT.

FAIR AND STABLE WEATHER CONDITIONS CAN BE EXPECTED TODAY...AND
WILL CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST MID WEEK. SATELLITES IMAGES ARE
SHOWING AN AREA OF SAHARAN DUST JUST EAST OF OUR LOCAL REGION AND
IS EXPECTED TO MOVE OVER THE AREA ON TUESDAY.

ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS...WINDS WILL BE BETWEEN 15 TO 20 KNOTS
WITH SEAS UP TO 6 FEET TONIGHT AND TUESDAY. THEN WINDS AND SEAS
WILL RISE WITH WINDS UP TO 20 KT AND SEAS UP TO 7 FEET. SMALL
CRAFT ADVISORIES WILL BE IN EFFECT LATE TONIGHT.
