THE MONTH OF APRIL WAS WETTER AND SLIGHTLY WARMER THAN NORMAL. FOR
THE MONTH...1.19 INCHES OF MOISTURE WAS RECORDED...WHICH WAS 0.34
INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. THE MAJORITY OF THE MOISTURE CAME IN TWO
SEPARATE EVENTS. THE FIRST WAS A SNOW STORM ON THE 6TH AND 7TH THAT
DROPPED A TOTAL OF 5.2 INCHES OF SNOW. 0.34 INCHES OF MOISTURE WAS
MEASURED WITH THIS SNOW. THE NEXT SYSTEM OCCURRED ON THE 25TH...
DROPPING 0.69 INCHES OF RAIN. A TOTAL OF 5.3 INCHES OF SNOW FELL
DURING THE MONTH...WHICH WAS SLIGHTLY ABOVE THE NORMAL OF 4.7 INCHES.

THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR APRIL WAS 45.8 DEGREES...WHICH WAS 0.9
DEGREES WARMER THAN NORMAL. THE AVERAGE HIGH WAS 59.2 DEGREES...WITH
AN AVERAGE LOW OF 32.4 DEGREES. THE WARMEST TEMPERATURE DURING THE
MONTH WAS 81 DEGREES ON THE 29TH...WHILE THE COLDEST WAS 23 ON THE
3RD.

THE WIND GUSTED TO 30 MPH OR GREATER ON SEVENTEEN DAYS IN APRIL. THE
PEAK WIND WAS A 50 MPH GUST FROM A COLD FRONT THAT PUSHED THROUGH
LATE IN THE EVENING ON THE 29TH.
