FLOOD STATEMENT

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
Indiana...

  White River...



.Lowland flooding and bank full conditions continued along the lower
portion of the White River in southern Indiana. The river has
crested and is falling at Hazleton. Expect flooding to come to an end
by Monday evening.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

  The White River at Hazleton.
* until Monday afternoon.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to have a maximum value of 17.3
  feet this afternoon.
* At 17.5 feet...Flood water is near or starting on Pottsville Road.
  Low bottomlands are increasingly affected by flood waters.
