...A crest below flood stage is forecast for the following location
along the Canadian River...

  For the Canadian River near Bridgeport...

* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* The latest stage was 12.02 feet at 1 PM Wednesday.

* The Canadian River is currently cresting... and is forecast to
  begin falling by Wednesday evening.

* Impact...When the Canadian River reaches 12 feet near Bridgeport...
  The river remains within its banks in southern Blaine...northern
  Caddo...and southwestern Canadian counties. Low-lying bottomlands
  near the river may be cut off from easy access by high water in
  side channels.

  People in flood prone areas should continue to monitor water
  levels...and be prepared to seek higher ground should water levels
  rise suddenly.  Stay tuned for further information by listening to
  weather radio or local media sources.
