WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE MIDSOUTH
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MEMPHIS TN
357 PM CDT WED APR 1 2015

AS OF 4PM..TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE THE MID TO UPPER 70S
THROUGHOUT THE MIDSOUTH WITH EVEN A FEW LOCATIONS AROUND THE
MEMPHIS METRO REPORTING TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW 80S... MAKING IT
THE WARMEST DAY OF THE YEAR THUS FAR. A WARM FRONT HAS MADE ITS
WAY THROUGH MOST OF THE MIDSOUTH AND HAS INCREASED MOISTURE AND
INSTABILITY FOR THE REGION. STORMS HAVE BEGAN TO FORM JUST SOUTH
OF THE FRONT AND COULD CONTINUE TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE THROUGHOUT
THE EVENING TODAY.

THIS ACTIVE PATTERN WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS
FOR THE MIDSOUTH WITH SEVERAL CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS.
TEMPERATURES WILL BE MILD THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WITH HIGHS NEAR 80
BOTH DAYS. A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BEGIN TO APPROACH THE AREA ON
FRIDAY. STORMS WILL PRECEDE THE FRONT AND SOME OF THEM MAY BECOME
SEVERE. COLDER AIR WILL FILTER INTO THE REGION BEHIND THE FRONT
CAUSING BELOW AVERAGE TEMPERATURES THROUGHOUT THE EASTER WEEKEND.

EXPECT ANOTHER WARM ACTIVE PATTERN OVER THE MIDSOUTH EARLY NEXT
WEEK.
