THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COUNTIES SERVED BY THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE IN BIRMINGHAM.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS ALL OF
CENTRAL ALABAMA TODAY. THESE STORMS WILL OCCUR GENERALLY BETWEEN
NOON AND 9 PM. THE THREATS WILL BE QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND WIND
GUSTS TO 60 MPH. THESE STORMS WILL DEVELOP IN THE VICINITY OF A
QUASI STATIONARY FRONT WITH SOME ENHANCEMENT POSSIBLE FROM AN
UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

THERE MAY BE A FEW STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ON
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON ACROSS ALL OF CENTRAL ALABAMA. THE LIKELIHOOD
OF SOMETHING SEVERE IS A BIT LESS THAN ON TUESDAY...BUT
NONETHELESS...QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND A WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH MAY
OCCUR. THESE STORMS WILL DEVELOP IN THE VICINITY OF A QUASI
STATIONARY FRONT.

ANOTHER SHOT AT SEVERE STORMS COMES ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. ONCE AGAIN...THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WIND GUSTS. THESE STORMS WILL PROGRESS WEST TO EAST IN
ASSOCIATION WITH A COLD FRONT.

ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT MAY BE
NEEDED TODAY...WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND AGAIN FRIDAY.
