...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA TODAY RESULTING IN A CHANCE
OF THUNDERSTORMS...PARTICULARLY OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN FROM THE
SIERRA NEVADA TO NORTHWEST ARIZONA. STRONG LOW PRESSURE CURRENTLY
OFF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST WILL DIVE INTO THE AREA LATE THIS
WEEK BRINGING SHOWERS...THUNDERSTORMS...GUSTY WINDS AND MUCH COOLER
CONDITIONS TO THE REGION.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING THROUGH SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL BRING
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS THIS
AFTERNOON...ENDING EARLY THIS EVENING. A FEW DRY LIGHTNING STRIKES
ARE POSSIBLE. THERE WILL BE LOCALLY GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE DESERTS
TONIGHT. SLIGHT WARMING WILL OCCUR INLAND TUESDAY AFTER THE LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES EAST OUT OF THE REGION...BUT THEN ANOTHER
TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL BUILD OVER THE WEST COAST WEDNESDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY AND BRING MORE COOL WEATHER AND A CHANCE OF
PRECIPITATION THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM IS
POSSIBLE IN SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY FRIDAY. NIGHT AND MORNING LOW
CLOUDS WILL BE WIDESPREAD WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS THROUGH
FRIDAY...WITH ONLY PARTIAL AFTERNOON CLEARING EACH DAY.
OVERALL...HUMIDITY WILL BE ABOVE SEASONAL NORMALS THIS WEEK. FAIR
WEATHER SHOULD RETURN OVER THE WEEKEND.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA AND
ARIZONA TODAY THROUGH TUESDAY...BRINGING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA...WITH DECREASING SHOWERS
FROM THE WEST EXPECTED ON TUESDAY. SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE MORE
ISOLATED ACROSS SOUTHEAST CALIFORNIA. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL BELOW
SEASONAL NORMALS BOTH DAYS ESPECIALLY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA.
ALTHOUGH HUMIDITIES WILL BE QUITE ELEVATED WITH THIS PASSING
LOW...SOME DRYING IS EXPECTED TUESDAY OUT WEST...WITH MINIMUM RH
VALUES DROPPING BELOW 15 PERCENT IN PLACES ACROSS SOUTHEAST
CALIFORNIA DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
