MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WERE FOUND ACROSS THE PLAINS STATES
OVERNIGHT...AS A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH WAS LOCATED ACROSS NORTHWEST
KANSAS AND SOUTHERN NEBRASKA. WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS NORTHEAST KANSAS AND CENTRAL KANSAS AS A
WEAK DISTURBANCE MOVED ACROSS KANSAS. EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES
RANGED FROM THE MIDDLE 50S IN NORTHWEST KANSAS TO THE MIDDLE 60S IN
KANSAS.

THE SURFACE TROUGH WILL REMAIN STATIONARY OVER SOUTHERN NEBRASKA
TODAY. A FEW SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHERN
NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON ALONG THIS WEAK
BOUNDARY. THE REST OF THE REGION WILL SEE ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES
WITH SOUTHERLY BREEZES. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL CONTINUE TO BE
ABOVE NORMAL WITH HIGHS RANGING FROM THE UPPER 80S IN WESTERN KANSAS
TO THE LOWER 80S IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.

THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE ACROSS
SOUTHERN NEBRASKA AND NORTHERN KANSAS TONIGHT...AS THE SURFACE
TROUGH DROPS A LITTLE FURTHER SOUTH INTO NORTHERN KANSAS. THE REST
OF THE REGION WILL SEE MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND MILD CONDITIONS. LOW
TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE LOWER 50S IN NORTHWEST KANSAS TO
THE LOWER 60S ACROSS SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.
