.SYNOPSIS...
A WARMING TREND WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEK AS HIGH PRESSURE
BUILDS INTO THE REGION. ENOUGH MOISTURE WILL LINGER FOR A CHANCE OF
AFTERNOON SHOWERS ON TUESDAY...MAINLY OVER EASTERN ARIZONA. FROM
WEDNESDAY INTO THE WEEKEND...TEMPERATURES WILL BE ABOUT 10 DEGREES
ABOVE NORMAL.

PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND ISOLATED SPRINKLES/LIGHT SHOWERS CONTINUED
DURING THE MID EVENING STRETCH OVER FAR EASTERN ARIZONA. LOOK FOR
THIS ACTIVITY TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT. ELSEWHERE, JUST A FEW
CLOUDS ARE EXPECTED. ALL OF THE ABOVE IS IN LINE WITH THE CURRENT
FORECAST PACKAGE.

ONE LAST PIECE OF ENERGY WILL SLIDE SOUTH THROUGH ARIZONA TONIGHT
THROUGH TUESDAY. THIS WILL KEEP A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS ACROSS FAR
EASTERN ARIZONA TONIGHT...SPREADING AS FAR WEST AS FLAGSTAFF ON
TUESDAY. AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM IS NOT OUT OF THE QUESTION...BUT
IS MORE LIKELY ACROSS FAR EASTERN ARIZONA.

DRY WEATHER AND WARMING TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY
THROUGH FRIDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES OVER THE STATE. EXPECT
WELL ABOVE AVERAGE TEMPERATURES. THE NEXT CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION
RETURNS EARLY NEXT WEEK WHEN A PACIFIC TROUGH MOVES INTO THE
SOUTHWEST.

.FIRE WEATHER...NORTH TO NORTHEAST FLOW ALOFT WILL REMAIN OVER
NORTHERN ARIZONA THROUGH TUESDAY. THIS FLOW TO KEEP MID LEVEL
MOISTURE AND AFTERNOON INSTABILITY OVER APACHE COUNTY AND THE
MOGOLLON RIM WHERE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND A STRAY
THUNDERSTORM ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH TUESDAY. A DAYTIME WARMING TREND
WILL  CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEK.

FROM THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...EXPECT WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS
THROUGH THIS PERIOD. SOUTHWEST AFTERNOON WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH WILL
RETURN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
