FLOOD STATEMENT

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Carolina...

  Wateree River At Lake Wateree affecting Fairfield...Kershaw and
  Lancaster Counties

.Despite recent dry weather...Lake Wateree remains elevated and may
fluctuate around flood stage. Additional rainfall is expected today.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

The Flood Warning extended for
  The Wateree River At Lake Wateree.
* until Monday morning...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  4 AM Saturday the stage was 99.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 100.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early this morning
  and continue to rise to 100.3 feet early this afternoon. The river
  will fall below flood stage Monday morning.

* At 100.4 feet...The water begins to overflow one or more marinas and
  piers along the northwest shores.
