FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR ALASKA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
621 AM AKDT TUE MAY 5 2015

.DISCUSSION...WITH THE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE OVER THE SOUTHWEST
MAINLAND WEAKENING AND TRACKING FURTHER NORTHWARD TODAY...THE
POTENTIAL FOR CONVECTION CONTINUES TO DIMINISH DUE TO STABILIZING
CONDITIONS OVER THE AREA. A DECAYING FRONT WILL BARELY STRAFE
THE COAST TODAY. WHILE NOT MUCH PRECIPITATION WILL MAKE IT
INLAND...EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS AND CLOUDS WILL INCREASE AHEAD OF
THE FRONT AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL ALSO BE ON THE RISE. THE FRONT
WILL FALL APART OVER THE AREA ON WEDNESDAY KEEPING THE AREA MODESTLY
MOIST.
