THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHERN NEW YORK...CENTRAL
VERMONT...NORTHEAST VERMONT...NORTHWEST VERMONT AND SOUTHERN
VERMONT.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THE RECENT DRY SPELL ACROSS NORTHERN NEW YORK AND VERMONT HAS
ALLOWED FINE FUELS BELOW 2000 FEET TO BECOMING VERY DRY ACCORDING
TO THE VERMONT DEPARTMENT OF FOREST...PARKS...AND RECREATION AND
THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION. THIS
COMBINED WITH DEVELOPING BREEZY SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH
WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH...AND MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES BETWEEN
28 AND 38 PERCENT...WILL INCREASE FIRE CONCERNS MONDAY. THE
RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL BE THE LOWEST AND WINDS THE
STRONGEST BETWEEN NOON AND 4 PM MONDAY.

AREAS OF DRY FINE FUELS EXIST ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE NORTH
COUNTRY. GIVEN THE EXPECTED WEATHER CONDITIONS...ANY FIRES THAT
DO OCCUR COULD SPREAD QUICKLY...BURN INTENSELY...AND BE DIFFICULT
TO CONTAIN.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
