SATURDAY...AS A LARGE UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM ROTATED OVER
KANSAS...NEBRASKA...AND NORTHWEST MISSOURI. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL
AMOUNTS GREATER THAN A QUARTER OF AN INCH WERE COMMON...WITH A FEW AREAS
SEEING AMOUNTS GREATER THAN THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH. MORNING LOW
TEMPERATURES...RANGED FROM 40 DEGREES IN FREEPORT...TO 50 DEGREES
IN KEOKUK.

CLOUDY SKIES AND WET CONDITIONS WILL BE FOUND TODAY...AS THE LARGE
UPPER LOW TRACKS EAST INTO ILLINOIS. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS
UP TO A HALF INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE...WITH RAIN TAPERING OFF BY THE
LATE AFTERNOON. AREAS SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 20 WILL SEE THE BEST
CHANCES FOR RAIN TODAY. TEMPERATURES WILL RISE LITTLE TODAY...WITH
READINGS ONLY TOPPING OUT IN THE LOWER 40S TO MIDDLE 50S. COLD AIR
WILL FILTER IN THE AREA BEHIND THIS SYSTEM AND WITH CLEARING
SKIES...WILL MAKE FOR A COLD NIGHT TONIGHT. EXPECT LOWS TO DROP
INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 30S BY SUNDAY MORNING.
