MID AND HIGH CLOUDS KEPT SKIES MOSTLY CLOUDY ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS
THIS MORNING AND INTO THE AFTERNOON, BEFORE SKIES BECAME PARTLY
CLOUDY. TEMPERATURES REMAINED SEASONABLE TODAY WITH GUSTY
SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS. HIGHS RANGED FROM THE MID 60S IN SOUTH CENTRAL
AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS, TO THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S ACROSS THE REST OF
KANSAS.

AN INTENSIFYING UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DIGGING SOUTHEAST
ACROSS THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST WILL SETTLE INTO THE GREAT BASIN REGION
BY MID DAY TOMORROW. A SURFACE COLD FRONT AHEAD OF THE UPPER LEVEL
SYSTEM WILL MOVE TO THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES TOMORROW, WITH A LOW
DEVELOPING ALONG THE FRONT IN EASTERN COLORADO. THIS UPPER LEVEL AND
SURFACE SYSTEM WILL BRING A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS TO WESTERN
KANSAS TOMORROW EVENING. THERE IS A VERY SLIGHT CHANCE OF A FEW OF
THESE STORMS DEVELOPING LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS IN FAR
WESTERN KANSAS.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE LOW 40S FROM WESTERN
THROUGH CENTRAL KANSAS, WITH MID TO UPPER 40S IN EASTERN KANSAS.
HIGHS TOMORROW WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 60S IN NORTHEAST KANSAS, TO
THE UPPER 70S IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF KANSAS AND THE OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLE.
