LIGHT WINDS AND MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WERE COMMON ACROSS THE CENTRAL
PLAINS THIS MORNING. PREDAWN LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID
30S IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS TO THE LOWER 50S IN SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

A WELL DEFINED UPPER LEVEL TROUGH DIGGING INTO THE WESTERN UNITED
STATES WILL BECOME A CLOSED LOW AS IT MOVES INTO THE GREAT BASIN BY
WEDNESDAY MORNING. SURFACE TROUGHING WILL PERSIST ALONG THE LEE SIDE
OF THE ROCKIES THROUGH TONIGHT. MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED
TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL BE ON THE INCREASE
LATER FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. RAIN AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES
WILL EXIST THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 60S IN EASTERN COLORADO TO THE
UPPER 50S IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE MID
30S IN EASTERN COLORADO TO THE MID 40S IN CENTRAL KANSAS.
