PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES DOMINATED WESTERN KANSAS TODAY, WITH INCREASING
MID AND HIGH CLOUDS BY EARLY EVENING, AS DISSIPATING THUNDERSTORMS
IN EASTERN COLORADO MOVED INTO WESTERN KANSAS. GUSTY SOUTHERLY WINDS
PREVAILED ACROSS MOST OF WESTERN KANSAS TODAY, HELPING TO BRING
WARMER TEMPERATURES TO THE AREA. HIGHS TODAY RANGED FROM THE UPPER
70S IN EASTERN KANSAS, TO THE UPPER 80S TO NEAR 90 IN CENTRAL AND
SOUTHWEST KANSAS.

A WEAK UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE THROUGH COLORADO TOMORROW
AND APPROACH WESTERN KANSAS TOMORROW EVENING, WHILE SURFACE LOW
PRESSURE TROUGHING REMAINS PARKED ACROSS EASTERN COLORADO AND
WESTERN KANSAS. THIS WILL BRING AN INCREASING CHANCE FOR
THUNDERSTORMS TO WESTERN KANSAS TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND EVENING. A
FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE SOME LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN WELL ABOVE NORMAL THROUGH THE REST OF THE
WEEKEND.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE 50S ACROSS MOST OF KANSAS,
WITH NEAR 60 IN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS. HIGHS TOMORROW WILL BE
IN THE MID 80S ACROSS ALL BUT SOUTHWEST KANSAS, WHERE TEMPERATURES
WILL REACH INTO THE UPPER 80S TO NEAR 90.
