CLEAR SKIES AND COLD TEMPERATURES WERE COMMON ACROSS THE WESTERN
PLAINS OVERNIGHT AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE REMAINED PARKED ACROSS THE
HIGH PLAINS. PRE-DAWN LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE UPPER 20S IN
EASTERN COLORADO TO THE MID 40S IN SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS.

A RATHER LARGE UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OVER THE UPPER MIDWEST WILL MOVE
TOWARDS THE GREAT LAKES BY EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. THE SURFACE HIGH
PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS WILL BEGIN TO SINK FARTHER
SOUTH THIS AFTERNOON. PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES ARE EXPECTED THIS
AFTERNOON WITH DRIER CONDITIONS THROUGH TUESDAY AFTERNOON. WARMER
TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST FOR TUESDAY.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 50S IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO TO
THE MID 60S IN CENTRAL OKLAHOMA. LOWS TONIGHT WILL DIP INTO THE
LOWER 30S IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA WITH UPPER 40S EXPECTED IN
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA.
