MID AND HIGH CLOUDS ADVANCED ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS AFTER MIDNIGHT,
RESULTING IN MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES ACROSS THE REGION BY EARLY THIS
MORNING. OVERNIGHT LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW 40S IN
EASTERN KANSAS, TO THE UPPER 40S TO LOW 50S IN WESTERN KANSAS AND
EASTERN COLORADO.

UPPER LEVEL HIGH PRESSURE RIDGING WILL REMAIN OVER THE DESERT
SOUTHWEST AND SOUTHERN PLAINS THROUGH TOMORROW, WITH WESTERLY FLOW
OVER THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PLAINS. A BROAD AREA OF SURFACE LOW
PRESSURE ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS AND WESTERN KANSAS WILL PERSIST
THROUGH TOMORROW, WITH ONLY A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR RAINSHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS IN FAR WESTERN AND NORTHERN KANSAS THROUGH THIS
EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN ABOVE NORMAL THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

HIGHS TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 70S IN SOUTHERN NEBRASKA AND
NORTHWEST KANSAS, TO THE LOW 80S IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST KANSAS.
LOWS TONIGHT WILL DIP INTO THE UPPER 40S IN EASTERN COLORADO AND FAR
WESTERN KANSAS, WITH LOW TO MID 50S ACROSS THE REST OF KANSAS.
