FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHERN/CENTRAL MO AND SE KS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
408 AM CDT TUE APR 28 2015

.DISCUSSION...

A STORM SYSTEM WILL PASS TO THE SOUTH OF THE AREA TODAY. SHOWERS
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS MAY MAKE IT AS FAR NORTH AS EXTREME SOUTHERN
MISSOURI...BUT ANY RAIN THAT FALLS WOULD BE VERY LIGHT. OTHERWISE
HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN TO SETTLE INTO THE REGION AND DOMINATE
THE WEATHER PICTURE THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. TEMPERATURES WILL
SLOWLY WARM THROUGH THE WEEK BACK INTO THE 70S BY THE WEEKEND. THE
NEXT CHANCE FOR RAIN AFTER TODAY WILL BE THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY
NEXT WEEK. AT THIS POINT THE BEST CHANCES LOOK TO BE ON MONDAY.
