This river statement is for the Colorado River.

For the Colorado River At Austin.
* Latest stage:               18.2 feet at 08 AM Wednesday.
* Flood Stage:                33.0 feet.
* Bankfull Stage:             25.0 feet.
* Forecast:  The river is below bankfull and will continue
  a slow fall. This is the last forecast for this event.



For the Colorado River At Bastrop.
* Latest stage:               2.8 feet at 08 AM Wednesday.
* Flood Stage:                23.0 feet.
* Bankfull Stage:             14.0 feet.

* Forecast:  No flooding is expected...with the
  river forecast to crest just above bankfull stage at
  14.2 feet Thursday afternoon.



For the Colorado River Near Smithville.
* Latest stage:               1.4 feet at 07 AM Wednesday.
* Flood Stage:                20.0 feet.
* Bankfull Stage:             10.0 feet.

* Forecast:  No flooding is expected...with the
  river forecast to crest above bankfull stage at 10.9 feet
  Thursday evening.



Scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the
next several days.
