...SNOW SHOWERS THROUGH THIS MORNING ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE
SUPERIOR...

.A COMBINATION OF COLD AIR AND NORTHWEST WINDS OVER THE LAKE IS
RESULTING IN LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE
SUPERIOR. THE HEAVIEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE
EXPECTED IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE GOGEBIC RANGE IN NORTHERN
IRON COUNTY. SNOWFALL WILL DIMINISH IN THE EARLY AFTERNOON.

* LOCATIONS...NORTHERN IRON COUNTY AND THE GOGEBIC RANGE.

* TIMING...THROUGH LATE MORNING THURSDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS
  ALONG THE GOGEBIC RANGE...ELSEWHERE UP TO AN INCH.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 20 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...LESS THAN A HALF MILE IN HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS.

* IMPACTS...ROADS WILL BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.

THIS WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS THAT
VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF FALLING AND
