WEATHER SUMMARY FOR MINNESOTA

THIS MORNING A WARM FRONT EXTENDED FROM A LOW IN CENTRAL SOUTH
DAKOTA EAST TO CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THIS KEPT SKIES CLOUDY
STATEWIDE. A MIXTURE OF RAIN AND SNOW WERE REPORTED AT SEVERAL
LOCATIONS IN NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
MINNESOTA. PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN MINNESOTA SAW RAIN. TEMPERATURES
WERE IN THE MID 30S TO LOW 40S ACROSS THE NORTH...AND THE LOW TO
UPPER 40S ACROSS THE SOUTH.

THE LOW WILL SLOWLY MOVE EASTWARDS DURING THE DAY AND THEN
SOUTHEASTWARDS TONIGHT. THIS WILL KEEP SKIES CLOUDY ACROSS THE
NORTH STAR STATE. ANY WINTRY PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE
OVER TO RAIN ACROSS THE NORTH...WHILE SOUTHERN LOCATIONS WILL SEE
ALL RAIN AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE. HIGHS IN THE 40S
ACROSS THE NORTH AND THE 50S IN THE SOUTH.

TONIGHT...RAIN WILL CHANGE OVER TO SNOW LATE IN NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA. SOUTHERN MINNESOTA WILL HAVE A CHANCE OF LIGHT RAIN.
LOWS IN THE UPPER 20S AND 30S ACROSS THE NORTH. ELSEWHERE
TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE 40S.

CONDITIONS WILL BE IMPROVING FROM NORTH TO SOUTH ON SATURDAY AS
THE SYSTEM MOVES AWAY. HOWEVER THERE STILL IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF
RAIN AND SNOW IN NORTHERN MINNESOTA...WHILE THE SOUTH WILL STILL
HAVE A THREAT OF LIGHT RAIN. HIGHS IN THE LOW 40S ALONG THE LAKE
SUPERIOR SHORELINE AND IN THE 50S ELSEWHERE.

NEXT WEEK LOOKS MAINLY DRY BESIDES A WEAK COLD FRONT PASSING
THROUGH ON TUESDAY. TEMPERATURES THROUGH WEDNESDAY LOOK NEAR
NORMAL.
